Ipswich’s second successive season in the Premier League has been a struggle. Kieran McKenna’s side play attractive football but simply don’t have the quality to convert chances at this level. They need investment in January — but with the window now closed, they must make do with what they have.

Burnley — 11/8 to go down

The incredible comeback win at Crystal Palace has given Burnley a lifeline. That 3-2 victory ended a 16-game winless run and could be the turning point. Their remaining fixtures include home games against Wolves, Ipswich, and West Ham — all direct rivals. If they can win those six-pointers, survival is realistic.

Tottenham Hotspur — 5/1 to go down

The most extraordinary subplot of the season. Spurs in 16th, five points above the drop zone, with no manager after sacking Thomas Frank. If they were to go down it would be their first relegation since 1977. The next appointment is arguably the most important in the club’s modern history.
