Who will make the Premiership top four.
«Thread Started May 8, 2018 at 20:52 pm»

As someone who is trying to revive an ESMS league currently, I know one of the hard parts of keeping things going is keeping managers. Because of this, let's have a bit more football (or other stuff) chat on here.

So, who does everyone think will be 3rd and 4th in the Premiership. Have Chelsea left it too late? Will Spurs just be, well, Spursy and bottle it at the end? Will Liverpool be thinking of the Champions League Final too much and lose concentration in the League.

Personally, as a Chelsea supporter, I hope we make it and I'm not too fussed who we keep out.

Well Spurs have us (Leicester) at home last day of the season, so is a guaranteed goal fest for them (and I have the pleasure of having a ticket in the away end!). I think they will hold on to 4th, with Liverpool 3rd.

Sorry mate, Chelsea to miss out.

Given Chelsea’s form I wouldn’t write them off yet, spurs and Liverpool have hid a bad patch at a bad time.

Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea spurs

Actually scratch that, Spurs to finish 3rd, Liverpool holding Chelsea off for 4th on goal difference.

I reckon we (Chelsea) will miss out. I'm glad we got our act together to actually force the issue this late, but I reckon it won't be enough.

Well, that didn't help. Liverpool only need a point to finish top 4.

I dunno, I thought we'd get slaughtered tonight but look how that turned out!

Yeah, don’t know where that performance came from coz we’ve been pants the last few months. Arsenal were down to 10 men for most of the game though.

The pessimist in me will still say we will get thumped at Wembley though, best way to think and then anything else is a bonus. ;-)
